Travel to Switzerland
Switzerland is a natural beauty, snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys interspersed by idyllic chalet towns and glittering lakes. The fabulous mountains are great for hiking, snowboarding, paragliding, mountainbiking and skiing. And what better way to end a busy day in the snow, then to relax in front of an open fire with some nice gluhwein and a swiss cheese fondue . Switzerland is also proud of the Brienz Rothorn Bahn, the oldest steam rail and the only one of its kind. The one hour ride takes you through unforgettable scenery. Some chic cities to visit, with excellent shopping, great restaurants and sight seeing, are Geneva, Zurich, Zug and Bern.

Travel Highlights Switzerland
Switzerland’s capital is a beautiful medieval city with a history dating back to the 12th century. The picturesque old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spread throughout the city you will find colorful medieval fountains and the famous clock tower, Bern’s number one landmark. The clock was built in 1530 and is still working today.
The hometown of the European headquarters of the United Nations is a very international and lively city. It is right at the banks of Lake Geneva, one of the largest lakes in Europe, and close to the terraced Vineyards and the Alps.
Once the watch making center of Switzerland, Interlaken today is a great trekking point for tourists. The city offers great views and lends itself as base camp for all outdoor activities in the mountains surrounding Interlaken. From Interlaken you have excellent train and bus connections to the mountain sights.
Lausanne is one of the largest cities in Switzerland. It is mostly known as Olympic Committee headquarters. Here you also will find the ‘Musee Olympique’, the Olympic Museum, where you can learn everything to know about the Olympics. Furthermore Lausanne is a picturesque city with lovely 17th and 18th century houses, wine yards and magical views over Lake Geneva and the mountains.
Lucerne is another beautiful city you must have seen while staying in Switzerland. The combination of the old architecture of the town, the uniqueness of the Kapellbrücke and the amazing views on Lake Lucerne and the mountains make this city a true highlight of Switzerland.
